- 10kV surge and lightning protection — Helps divert high-voltage transients away from connected network equipment through the grounding terminal. Rated for 5kA nominal discharge current, 10kA maximum discharge current, and more than 2,000 surge events at 0.5kA.
- IP67 waterproof aluminum housing — Rugged metal enclosure, silicone sealing ring, and waterproof RJ45 cable glands help resist rain, dust, and outdoor exposure. Operates from -40°C to +80°C (-40°F to +176°F) in up to 95% non-condensing humidity
- 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet compatibility — Supports 10 Mbps Ethernet, 100 Mbps Fast Ethernet, and 1000 Mbps Gigabit Ethernet links. Works with both 48V PoE and regular non-PoE network connections, with 250MHz bandwidth per pair and insertion loss of no more than 0.2dB.
- Grounding required for surge protection — Connect a suitable ground lead securely to the side grounding terminal so surge energy has a controlled path to earth. Clearly marked IN and OUT ports, wall-mount flanges, and four-piece waterproof gland assemblies support correct installation.
- All-pair RJ45 protection — Protects Ethernet conductors used for network data and 48V PoE, including pair groups 1/2, 3/6, 4/5, and 7/8. Compatible with PoE power carried over either pair set and with standard non-PoE Ethernet connections.
